The Municipalities of Delta del Po Veneto are 9: Adria, Ariano nel Polesine, Corbola, Loreo, Papozze, Porto Tolle, Porto Viro, Rosolina, Taglio di Po.
They cover an area of 786 square kilometers, out of which over 160 are lagoons, while the inhabitants of the whole area are over 73 thousands. Origins and history are mainly linked to the geological evolution of the Delta and to the historical events regarding the towns of Venice and Ferrara. In all the Municipalities there are churches, villas, industrial archaeology sites, and ancient rural houses of great interest or Etruscan and Roman archaeological finds of great value. In the area there are 9,400 firms, out of which 2,300 deal with craftsmanship.
