Gialét bean has been named after the very intense yellow of its integument. Its cultivation range includes the Municipalities of Santa Giustina, Cesiomaggiore, Sospirolo, Belluno, and Feltre in the territory of Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park. Gialét bean well resists to pathogens. Its small and rounded seed has a high content in proteins. However, its flaws are a graduated ripening and a low production, about 2.2 t/ha against the 4 t/ha of Lamon beans.
