Many structures give visitors information about the Park and the didactic activities: three visitor centers, one botanical garden and an environmental education center. These structures were established for tourists and for the locals as well, not only as information points, but also as places for cultural exchanges.
Further informationThe scientific research is one of the main aims of the National Parks, and therefore of Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park which has been organizing since its establishment a rich series of scientific researches dealing with naturalistic, historical-anthropological, economic, and managerial aspects.
Besides the studies commissioned to researchers and Universities, the Park archive includes the theses of all the students who dealt with this area.
According to what established by the law on protected areas, Dolomiti Bellunesi National Park has created its own group of "Official Tour Guides".
At the end of a specific training course on the protected area and after passing a final exam, they received the title of "Park Official Tour Guide".
The Park Tour Guides are gathered in the cooperative "Mazarol" and deal both with hiking tour guide activities all year round and environmental education projects dedicated to schools.
