Access: From Faè to Caiada by car, then on foot
Difficulty reaching and moving about in the area: Medium. From Caiada to the top of Mount Cirvoi takes about three hours
Recommended time of year: Autumn (spring, summer).
Habitat: Upland grasslands. On the way to Mount Cirvoi, you pass through the Caiada forest (conifers), various areas of pastureland (Palughet), beech woods and mugo pine scrubland
Wildlife to look out for: Forest and grassland animals. The most interesting species include: golden eagle, kestrel, honey buzzard, raven, alpine chough, black woodpecker, black grouse, viviparous lizard, roe deer, chamois
Equipment: Walking boots and normal mountain gear
Notes: Excellent visibility in the high altitude grasslands and Palughet pastures (roe deer in the morning and evening at the edge of the woods), less in the forest
