Difficulty reaching and moving about in the area: Easy as far as the Rifugio Ere alpine hut, while access to the slopes above the hut is for expert hikers

Habitat: Tree line areas with south facing upland grasslands and rocky habitats

Wildlife to look out for: golden eagle, mouflon, chamois, roe deer

Equipment: Walking boots and normal mountain gear

Notes: Visibility is good, so you therefore have a good chance of observing ungulates from a privileged viewpoint
