Difficulty reaching and moving about in the area: The wetlands are easily accessible

Recommended time of year: Spring

Habitat: Pools along the Caorame Torrent for almost the full length starting from Orsera and ponds (Lame di Sant'Eustacchio).

Wildlife to look out for: Common toad, fire salamander, alpine newt, common frog, white-throated dipper, grey wagtail, passerines (robin, blackcap, blackbird, marsh tit, coal tit, long-tailed tit, etc.), roe deer

Equipment: Rubber boots are advisable, together with a guide to amphibians

Notes: The Lame di Sant'Eustacchio are especially worth visiting as they represent one of the most interesting sites for amphibians and reptiles in the pre-Park area
