Valle del Mis
This valley plays an important role in the Park system. The trails following the very steep crags in the north of Sospirolo, between Mt. Fornel and Mt. Sperone, are neither well-marked nor visited by many hikers. The Local Tourist Board has been, for years, managing tourist activities and structures, according to what established by the Park Plan.
The valley has an extraordinary environmental value and offers numerous spectacular settings thanks to its beautiful landscape (the artificial Lake, the waterfall of the Soffia, the Brentùn basins or potholes). The Park Authority aims at promoting hiking in the area by providing tourists with the necessary services (trails and equipped areas). The SP road which was destroyed by the 1966 flood has already been recently restored and asphalted: the previous non-asphalt road already gave the opportunity to go on foot or by bike from the bridge over the Mis to Titele, enjoying wonderful natural phenomena and a spectacular landscape. Tours are usually carried out in the valley bottom, since the lateral valleys are not easily accessible.
