Parco Nazionale Dolomiti Bellunesi

It is one of the main gateways to the Park. The valley can be reached from Bolzano Bellunese. If a project for the recovery and preservation of the sites at low altitudes in the town of Belluno will be completed, this will lead to the creation of a privileged corridor enhancing human activities.
The ravine of the torrent is interesting for its geomorphology and its vegetation. The valley leads you to VII Alpini Mountain Hut (1,500m) situated in the basin of Pis Pilon; from here, you can start rather demanding, and sometimes strenuous, hiking and climbing activities on the walls of Schiara and Pelf.
