Segu, in 1888, Ex voto specifically dedicated to the art of Sacri Monti di Varallo and Crea. Indisputably, in modern times, the most incisive international action of promotion and study of Sacri Monti has been carried out by Butler. The current publication is an act of acknowledgement for his great love.
