Biodiversity of the hills of Lower Monferrato

Nascitur in collibus Montisferrati - biodiversità del Basso Monferrato is a new volume published by the Park, analyzing the ecology of the hills through the study of the organisms populating them and contributing to the formation of the environment and the landscape.
In ten chapters, edited by experts in the various fields, some of the most significant groups of the local flora and fauna are analized. From the analysis, a complex territory emerges (owning part of its richness to biodiversity) with a high naturalistic-ecological value, rich in particular ecosystems and unique or rare species at a national level, but severely endangered by the human pressure.
