First Center of the Park, inaugurated in 1990, La Fagiana Nature Reserve is probably the place which best identifies with Ticino Park. It is located inside the Z.N.O. "La Fagiana", a naturalistic area of excellence that today extends almost over 500 hectares of forest areas. Its water richness, its different soil composition, its particular historical relationship that has linked man and forest in this lands, make it a very important area for its flora among all the Po valleys. Actually, it is the most important natural area of public ownership in the Ticino Valley.
